[VERSE 1]
Up here in Heaven, you know I miss you
Parting was so hard, but faith sees you through
Your tears may still fall, it’s healing to weep
Grief washes out slowly, when sorrow runs deep
[CHORUS]
In Jesus’ embrace, where pain does cease
In Jesus’ embrace, there’s so much peace
In God’s Kingdom, with beauty sublime
I’m watching from Heaven, until it’s your time
[BRIDGE]
I see you walking, down paths that God makes
His plan unfolding, with choices to take
When darkness whispers, and Satan creeps in
With the help of Jesus, shout him out again
Trust in the Savior, He’s your loving guide
You can stay strong, with Him by your side
[CHORUS]
In Jesus’ embrace, where pain does cease
In Jesus’ embrace, there’s so much peace
In God’s Kingdom, with beauty sublime
I’m watching from Heaven, until it’s your time
[VERSE 2]
I see your journey through laughter and grief
I pray that it’s long, carried on with belief
The last road is God’s, not a path you decide
I’ve watched you resist, and it fills me with pride
[OUTRO]
God has a plan, you know that it’s true
We’ll be together, when He calls for you
Live in His love, with hope in your heart
I’m watching and smiling, while we’re apart
Don’t hurry to me, in peace I will wait,
Until God brings you to His Heavenly estate
There I’ll be waiting with open arms
We will celebrate!
We will celebrate!
“I’m Watching From Heaven” is a message of comfort and reassurance from the singer who was bound for Heaven in “I’ll Watch From Heaven.”
Now safely in Jesus’ embrace, the departed one speaks back to those left behind — offering peace, encouragement, and a gentle reminder that Heaven is not a place to rush toward. Grief is real and tears are healing, but our time on earth is sacred and purposeful.
The song echoes the struggle faced in “Until It’s My Time” — the temptation to end the pain and join loved ones too soon — while affirming that God alone decides when it’s time. It urges the living to trust His timing, resist despair, and live boldly with faith, hope, and love.
Sung from the perspective of someone already in glory, it carries both tenderness and encouragement: “Don’t hurry to me… I’ll be peacefully waiting with open arms.”
